Yes. It stops right in front of the Acadia Inn from the end of June until the middle of October and takes you to downtown Bar Harbor. If your destination is downtown, brilliant, you’re there. If you wish to go further afield there are other buses available downtown that can take you all over Mount Desert Island and into Acadia National Park. Yes. There is a sidewalk the entire way making it a nice 15 minute stroll into town.
The Bar Harbor Motel is about 1 mile from downtown Bar Harbor. There is a sidewalk the entire way making for an easy 15 minute stroll to downtown. If you’re unable to walk, from the end of June to middle October there is a free shuttle stopping right in front of the motel that will take you into town. It runs about every 15 minutes from 7am until 10pm.
Check-out time at the Bar Harbor Motel is 11:00am.
Bar Harbor Motel check-in time is 3pm or later. If you need an earlier time or will be arriving later than 10pm please call our front desk at 207-288-2072.
