From the Villager office: Exit office and turn right and walk, south, down Main Street 2.5 blocks. Turn left onto Wayman Lane and walk 5 minutes, down, past the hospital to the gravel path. The gravel path is the beginning of the Shore Path – follow it to the water, and then left, following signs, along the waterfront back into town at the town Pier. The Shore Path is about .6 of a mile in distance.
Yes. It stops right in front of the Bar Harbor Motel every 15 minutes from the end of June until the middle of October and takes you to downtown Bar Harbor. If your destination is downtown, brilliant, you’re there. If you wish to go further afield other buses available downtown can take you all over Mount Desert Island and into Acadia National Park.
